I have extensive experience in digital visual culture, media representations, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) design, as well as a long history of new media art practice. My research and practice focus on innovative methods for exploring how media influence our world. I am currently a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Research within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull. My funded project, part of the Suicide Prevention and Social Justice cluster, investigates the relationship between suicide contagion and social media.
Former Assistant Professor and Course Director for MA Media Management at Coventry University's SACI, responsible for course development, teaching core modules, and leading research projects. Also led a College of Arts and Sciences cluster module franchised by the RSA.
